Irene is a true thoroughbred mountain biker with a special preference for long, alpine tours. She loves the summit success and the challenge of whether the planned route with the bike works out as planned. Because of the mountains, Irene moved from Upper Austria to Innsbruck 3.5 years ago and since then lives out her love for the mountains daily. Innumerable Tyrolean peaks are still on Irene's to-do list, as well as the joy of discovering new trails. And they can be both technical and flowy.
Enduro biking is a pure enthusiasm, because it is the ideal combination of demanding uphills with natural and varied trails. Kicking, carrying and pushing, Irene does all this to reach lonely peaks and trails that cannot be reached by gondola and shuttle. Enduro is Irene's passion for tough competition sport. Then the race genes wake up with the trained physician, who prefers to be on the podium at demanding enduro races. There they will be seen more often this year, on races in Austria, Italy and France.

WHAT DOES A USUAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
No matter what else is at hand, sport in the morning, in the evening or in between is always a must.
Irene, WHICH GOALS DID YOU SET YOURSELF, WHAT’S YOUR MOTIVATION?
Mountain biking combines various aspects for me. This includes discovering fun trails as well as exploring new routes. Mastering the strenuous uphills, which are rewarded with trail descents, is just as great as the peace and quiet on the mountain.
