ROTWILD AGGRESSIVE SERIES

The ROTWILD Aggressive Series has been designed with true mountain bikers in mind. Those kind of bikers, who are looking for performance boosts at just the right moment and who know when to make the most of it. For these riders, efficiency, ride characteristics and trail performance are more important than just battery capacity. Their top priority is having fun on a bike – in a group, on challenging trails, over and over again. And when the legs are about to give up, but the head still wants more, the electric support steps in to give them extra power for even more downhill runs.

For the 2021 model year, we are offering these riders a new ROTWILD platform: the IPU375. It is based around the Shimano EP8 motor and 375 Wh of battery capacity.

Excitement is key.

ROTWILD R.E375 PRO

Speed and action are key, while fast cornering, ideal lines and long jumps are essential. Always on the lookout for a new challenge, a new personal best or a bold, impulsive approach in order to be first over the line in a competition. The focus is on duels and fun with friends both in natural terrain and on purpose-built tracks.

Johannes Matschos

PRODUCT MANAGER

"How fast can the corner actually be ridden? Where is the grip limit? Can I pull off here and land just after the roots? What is the cleanest line through the rock garden? What is the fastest line through the rock garden? I want to test out physical limits. The bike should motivate me to leave my comfort zone and learn to ride faster and safer. The bike should not be the limiting factor, but should give me a feeling of safety even in rough, technical terrain. The best part is to be out with friends and share the trail experiences, preferably with a relaxed ride up to the next trail head".

MY TUNES FOR THE TRAIL

Jonathan Zimmermann

DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

"I want an aggressive, full-on E-Enduro with which lets me celebrate the terrain in front of me. An extreme race machine that only reaches its limits long after I've finished and that permanently pushes me to maximum performance. And at the same time it gets the performance right: smooth running, agile, measured, light and immediate - for maximum control. Uphill and downhill, I want to be efficient, because I don't want to waste a single moment of fun. This is exactly what we have achieved with the R.E375."

MY TUNES FOR THE TRAIL

Stephan Koch

Sales Representative

"I want a light-footed bike. It must be fast, direct and agile. My focus is not necessarily the last mountain peak of the valley. But I do want an extra portion of endorphins and adrenaline on the descent. A nice, not too technical uphill followed by a flowing trail. I like to do it with berms and jumps. I don't like it too blocked, but I like it fast. I don't want to have to go around obstacles but simply jump over them. So it is clear that a bike should make all this possible. The limiting factor should be me, not the bike. My usual tour takes 2-3 hours and during this time the R.E375 is my perfect companion for a big grin on my face!

Shimano EP8 Motor

BENCHMARK

The new ultra-compact Shimano engine weighs less than 2500 g, produces an impressive 85 nm of torque and has 50% lower pedalling resistance, 20% higher motor efficiency with reduced noise levels (compared to the Steps E8000) and smooth fade-out/fade-in at the support limit. This guarantees maximum acceleration, efficient pedalling and a natural  ride feel. The ideal support mode can be configured across three different motor maps.

QUICK RELEASE

BATTERY QR

By pushing a button the battery can be released easily and removed with one hand. The button can be locked by an additional screw against theft.

PROGRESSIVES SETUP

OPTIMIZED FOR ACTION

Suspension kinematics has been designed for action and allows for greater suspension movement, higher speeds and bigger jumps with more air time. The spring rate of the R.E375 was designed 14% more progressive than the R.E750. The modern frame geometry with a 63° steering angle and a steep 76° seat angle leads to a central, balanced sitting position and is perfect for high-speed sections.

IPU375

ROTWILD POWER UNIT

The ROTWILD batteries are designed to meet the needs of each individual target group and have a capacity of 375 Wh. They set new standards with their lightweight design, low position and ultra-modern high-performance cell technology (type 21700). They can be charged both on and off the bike. The batteries of the R.375 models come with a lightweight, hand-made carbon housing.

SUPERLIGHT COCKPIT

Weight reduced stem and bar

A special lightweight stem and handlebar unit has been designed specifically for the Aggressive Series, with invisible routing of the user interface cables and MonkeyLink as an optional extra.

CARBON LINKAGE

FIRST TIME AND HAND MADE

Connecting rear and front end and ensuring a smooth suspension performance, the linkage plays an important role. For the first time, the whole linkage has been made from carbon fibre, drastically reducing the overall wheight of the bike.
