A. General

ROTWILD frames are carefully manufactured by hand and undergo comprehensive quality control both during production and before delivery. For this reason, we grant end users who purchase a ROTWILD bike a voluntary manufacturer's warranty on our frames for five years from initial purchase under the following conditions.

Warranty provider is:

ADP Engineering GmbH
Am Bauhof 5
64807 Dieburg
info@rotwild.de

The following conditions, which describe the requirements and scope of our warranty service, do not affect the seller's warranty obligations arising from the purchase contract with the end consumer. These warranty obligations are to be fulfilled free of charge in the event of a defect.

B. Scope of application and processing

The prerequisite for claiming the warranty service is the purchase of a ROTWILD bike from a dealer authorized by ROTWILD in the DACH countries or via Click & Collect to customers with their first place of residence in one of the DACH countries, whereby the warranty can only be claimed in the country of first purchase. Furthermore, the product must be registered via www.rotwild.com/product-registration by the first purchaser within 30 days of purchase. Before your first ride, please read the manual/manuals supplied with every ROTWILD bike. These contain important safety information and details on assembly, use and maintenance.

C. Scope of voluntary manufacturer's warranty, processing

ROTWILD offers a voluntary five-year manufacturer's warranty on material and processing defects for all frames (carbon and aluminum). Paintwork and graphics are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Within the warranty period, subsequent owners also have a claim under the warranty. The decisive factor for this is a continuous notification of the respective change of ownership by sending proof of legal acquisition to ROTWILD. The start of the guarantee is always the date of the first purchase.

In the event of a warranty claim, ROTWILD will either repair (rework) or replace the defective frame. If a replacement is made, an identical frame or - if no longer available - a frame that is as similar as possible will be provided. ROTWILD may demand the return of the defective frame. If the frame is replaced, the paintwork may differ.

Warranty claims are handled by an authorized ROTWILD dealer. A list of these specialist dealers can be found at www.rotwild.com/en/store-locator. Alternatively, you can contact our customer service (phone no.: +49 6021 921 55 22) to find a ROTWILD dealer near you.

The ROTWILD dealer will check the bike on our behalf to assess whether there is a warranty claim before granting a warranty. If there is a warranty claim, the warranty will be processed free of charge for you.

The performance of a warranty service does not lead to an extension or restart of the warranty period.

The voluntary guarantee commitment is limited to the frame and the associated costs. Further claims for damages are excluded, unless they are based on intent or gross negligence on the part of ROTWILD or its vicarious agents or concern damage to life, body or health. Liability under the Product Liability Act also remains unaffected.

D. Exclusion

This guarantee does not apply to damage due to:

  • Failure to comply with the maintenance intervals in accordance with the operating instructions or failure to update the software.
  • Improper use, in particular if the areas of use described on our website are not observed (please note the bike classification).
  • Modifications to the product, e.g. engravings or paintwork. Damage to the frame due to the installation or replacement of components that have not been expressly approved by ROTWILD or are not suitable for the respective model.
  • Misuse, falls, overloading, jumps outside the bike classification or other overuse.
  • Corrosion damage, e.g. due to improper storage or care.
