The athlete

The revolutionary ROTWILD mountain bike with eAssist: lightweight, quiet, and powerful. The Boost Button provides extra thrust, perfect for athletes who want to push their limits and give it their all. The concept is designed for maximum integration and consistent lightweight construction, yet still offers precise power assistance. Thanks to short-travel kinematics and flex stays, it rides like an agile MTB, ideal for lots of fun on the trail.

FEATURES

Boost Button

The Boost Button is perfectly positioned on the handlebars, harmoniously integrated into the cockpit. Press it for up to 30 seconds and it will deliver up to 300 watts of power. For obstacles, for sprinting out of corners, for climbs on the trail. Until you need it again. The rest is continuously controlled by eAssist.

Short Travel Kinematics

The Short Travel kinematics with 130 mm of travel at the front and 120 mm at the rear make handling agile and provide grip on any surface. The new linkage is lightweight, very compact, and impresses with its high stiffness. We have precisely calculated the spring characteristic curve of the rear suspension in simulations and compared it with empirical values in practice.

Integrated Display

We have removed the display from the direct field of vision. It is integrated centrally in the top tube. Here you will find the most important displays and values. You can configure the basic settings in the app for your mobile device. Changing modes while riding – that's not the style in which you ride your R.X275.

High Modulus Carbon

The frame of the R.X275 is made of high-modulus fiber full carbon. It is handmade from around 580 carbon blanks and weighs 1,893 g as a tube frame. This offers higher stiffness values with absolutely optimized weight.

Motor

“Made in Germany” is the hallmark of the HPR50 from TQ. HPR stands for Harmonic Pin Ring transmission. The absence of conventional gears and belts saves weight and enables a compact design around the bottom bracket. It delivers up to 50 Nm of torque and weighs 1,850 g.

Rear suspension

The rear suspension system is rigid, yet highly dynamic. By using flexible carbon seat stays, we can dispense with additional rear suspension bearings and thus save even more weight. The 437 mm chain stays give the rear suspension a compact design.
