Titel und erstes Podium im Enduro Weltcup
A 10-second lead going into the final stage
The festival kicked off on Friday with the E-Enduro race. Six really great downhill stages—exactly our kind of terrain. In the men’s race, it was a close contest between Théo and Kelan. In the end, Théo prevailed by two seconds and claimed victory ahead of his teammate. Helen won the women’s race ahead of Flo Espiñeira. A one-two finish—the weekend couldn’t have started any better.
In Morillon, France, Helen carried the momentum from her national championship title straight into the World Cup final. She was fast from the start and battled for the lead. Going into the final stage, she was even in first place with a lead of about ten seconds.
But the final stage was a real challenge: more than ten minutes of riding time, demanding terrain, and high temperatures pushed the riders to their limits. A crash cost Helen about 30 seconds and, with it, the lead. She still fought her way to the finish and secured third place.
In doing so, Helen not only continued her personal success story. Her podium finish is also the first Enduro World Cup podium finish for the ROTWILD Schwalbe Gravity Team and for ROTWILD. German champion in E-Enduro in Willingen, winner of the Bosch E-MTB Challenge in Riva del Garda, German champion in Enduro—and now a top-3 finish in the Enduro World Cup. For Helen Weber, one success has followed another this season.
Kelan at Top Speed, but No Happy Ending
Newly crowned Irish champion Kelan Grant once again demonstrated in Morillon that he has the speed to rank among the top 10 in the world. Several top finishes on individual stages put him in a promising position early in the race. However, minor mistakes on the final stages cost him valuable time and ultimately dropped him to 24th place. The pace is there—the next step forward is just a matter of consistency.
Théo is the overall winner of the 2026 Bosch E-MTB Challenge
Upon his arrival in Verbier, France, Théo held a comfortable lead in the overall standings and had only one goal: to bring home the title. And that’s exactly what he did. With a fifth-place finish in the race, Théo clinched the overall victory in the 2026 Bosch E-MTB Challenge ahead of schedule. This title underscores his status as one of the world’s strongest e-bike racers today.
A Season Full of Highlights
Two German championship titles, the overall victory in the Bosch E-MTB Challenge, and now their first World Cup podium finish: The 2026 season continues to deliver new highlights for the ROTWILD Schwalbe Gravity Team.
And the next race is already on the horizon: At the European E-MTB Tour on the Reschen Pass in Austria, Théo and Helen will take the start with excellent chances of achieving their next major successes. Both have the opportunity to take an important step toward the overall victory there.
