That's a wrap - RSGT Season Recap Part I
The EDR kick-off in Pietra Ligure brought a real old-school enduro feeling with seven stages and over 1,500 meters of elevation gain. After intense winter training, Helen had to take a break due to illness, while Torben and Kelan competed for the team. The race was mixed: technical problems, a crash, and a flat tire prevented top results, but the pace was good. With 49th (Torben) and 82nd (Kelan) places, the ROTWILD Schwalbe Gravity Team takes valuable experience and positive feedback on the converted R.EXC e-bikes into the season.

Das Wetter war an den beiden Renntagen sehr wechselhaft. Von perfektem Sonnenschein zu Starkregen war alles dabei. Kelan und Torben machten jedoch das Beste aus der Situation. Hier auf dem bekannten “Hellboy” Trail.
E-Bike oder Bio-Bike? Dank eines cleveren Frästeils konnten wir unser EXC E-Bike kurzerhand umbauen. Die leere Batterie dient nun als Storage Box. Kein Bike zog mehr Blicke auf sich als unser R.EXC während der gesamten Woche. Egal ob mit Motor oder ohne.
Fast geschafft. Die letzte Stage des Wochenendes endete direkt hinter der Ortschaft Pietra Ligure. Dementsprechend gut war die Stimmung.

What a weekend in Willingen! Helen fought her way to the top in a thrilling race and is now German E-Enduro Champion. Torben took the runner-up title as he did last year, and Kelan completed the podium in third place. Challenging trails, steep uphills, and power stages—the team gave it their all and showed what they are capable of. An unforgettable weekend full of adrenaline, team spirit, and great moments!
Während des gesamten Wochenendes in Willingen durften wir den Shimano Germany Stand als unsere Basis nutzen. Perfekt, um ins Gespräch zu kommen und unser Wissen über den EP801 zu teilen.
Torben konnte mit einem beachtlichen zweiten Platz aufs Treppchen fahren.
Helen und ihre Goldmedaille strahlen um die Wette.

#2 Loudenvielle
After a sunny start to the week and good training conditions in Loudenvielle, it was clear that a fast race was ahead. Unfortunately, Torben was unable to start due to illness. Kelan fought bravely through despite a cold and a crash and finished in 40th place. Helen impressed with consistently strong times, finishing in the top 10 in all stages and ultimately taking an excellent 6th place.
Torben in seinem Element. Der für seine Größe wahrscheinlich flinkste Fahrer. Leider konnte er einer sich anbahnenden Erkältung nicht mehr ausweichen. Deshalb musste er auf einen Start am Race-Day verzichten.
Helen fliegt durch die französischen Pyrenäen. Das Wetter war die ganze Woche sehr beständig. Dementsprechend trocken und schnell was das Rennen.
Finish Line Hugs. Kelan war mit seinem Rennen sehr unzufrieden. Körperlich hatte er die ganze Woche zu kämpfen und konnte dadurch auf den schnellen und physischen Strecken nicht sein Leistungsmaximum erreichen.
Woran hats gelegen? Kelan blickt melancholisch auf die Ziellinie.
