Success at the E-Enduro National Championships
As in previous years, the German E-EDR Championships took place in Willingen, this time as part of the renowned Bosch E-MTB Series. After a demanding but highly successful week at Trans Madeira, Helen had only three days at home before heading straight to the Sauerland region. On the final day in Madeira, she had suffered a large wound on her arm, so the race was never going to be an easy one.
As is customary in the Bosch Series, all stages were raced blind, meaning no course practice was possible beforehand. Neither the injury nor the challenge of blind racing could stop Helen. She won every single stage and claimed the German Championship title with a margin of more than two minutes over the riders in second and third place. We are incredibly proud of this impressive title defense.
One week earlier (May 23–24), Théo lined up for the French Championships in Brassac. After missing the event last year due to injury, he arrived highly motivated and eager to build on the strong results from the first block of the season. He was widely considered one of the favorites.
Saturday featured four timed stages, including two Power Stages. Ironically, it was on the uphill sections, normally Théo’s specialty, that a few small and uncharacteristic mistakes crept in. As a result, he finished the first day in second place, just behind reigning World Champion Adrien Dailly. On Sunday, Théo responded in style, taking two stage wins and successfully defending his position. In the end, he secured the silver medal, finishing 20 seconds behind Dailly, who also claimed the French Championship title. It was a result that made the whole team extremely proud.
