Strong climbing all-rounder with excellent trail handling

How good is the E-MTB generation of 2020 really? To clarify this question, the magazine EMTB had invited the most exciting E-mountain bikes with suspension travel around 150 mm to a comparison test. After the excellent test results of the other ROTWILD novelties, we were even more excited to see how the R.C750 PRO would meet the high expectations.

True all-rounder

We had presented the new R.C750 for 2020 as a cross mountain. With a clear focus on riding fun in varied terrain - just as most bikers want. A true all-rounder that shines both on the home trails and off the beaten track. And it is precisely these characteristics that the EMTB test crew attests to the bike in its February-March 2020 issue: "ROTWILD presents a strong climbing all-rounder.

The sensitively working chassis supports the excellent and precise trail handling.

Best driving characteristics in the practical test

With its "super reach height", the R.C750 is one of the uphill favorites within the test group: "In the uphill, the 29er really blossoms." In the process, the bike shows that it effortlessly brings its technical values to the trail: "Thanks to a pleasantly sporty seating position and rather long chainstays, the power reaches the ground even in tricky and steep uphills."
In the downhill passages underlines the EMTB impressed: "Downhill all testers feel really comfortable on the sporty bike. The geometry is balanced and modern, the large wheels bring driving safety. Like a razor blade, the bike precisely draws its line across the trail."

The Double Wall Tube design of the head tube provides high stability and stiffness at low weight.

Technical details for better function

The fact that there are a lot of details in our bikes whose technical background is not immediately apparent at first glance is shown by the example of the engine housing with the integrated air skid plates. These ribbed aluminum inserts protect the engine housing while efficiently conducting heat to the outside. Exactly this effect is also proven by the test bench test of the EMTB in comparison to other concepts: "Under continuous load, the elaborate cooling fin design makes itself positively felt with the ROTWILD, the power can be reduced significantly later."

Test rating Very Good

And so the test verdict for the R.C750 Pro is: Very good. In the conclusion, the EMTB specifies: "Sporty tourer with a strong motor, large battery and good climbing characteristics. There is a lot of technical finesse in ROTWILD's carbon chassis, the trail handling is excellent and precise."
