Race Report: European E-MTB Tour #2 Amblève
The team traveled to Belgium for the recent enduro race weekend. Contrary to expectations, the courses in the low mountain range featured a steep, muddy, and extremely technical profile that was absolutely World Cup-worthy.
Helen made an impressive return after her illness-related break. Riding her new M2S Race 750, she dominated the women’s field: She won both the evening cross-country-style Power Stage and all nine regular stages on Sunday, securing the overall victory with a lead of just under two minutes over reigning E-Enduro World Champion George Swift.
In the men’s race, Theo and Kelan secured second and third place overall with multiple stage wins. A mechanical issue on the fourth stage, resulting in a crash that fortunately caused no injuries, cost Theo crucial seconds in his head-to-head battle for first place with Andrea Garibbo.
