R.EXC Rocker
Terrain and riding style place different demands on your setup. That’s why the new R.EXC can be precisely adapted to your riding style and area of use with the adjustable rocker. Which effects the different rocker positions have on travel, progression and riding characteristics, how to adjust the setting, and what you need to consider when adjusting the SAG is explained in this video.
The Rocker allows you to adjust travel and progression in three stages:
- Full: 160 mm travel / 16% progression – maximum traction and control for uncompromising downhill riding
- Mid: 155 mm travel / 14% progression – balanced race mode for versatile trails
- Short: 145 mm travel / 12% progression – stiff rear end for efficient climbs and a direct riding feel
The SAG also changes due to the altered lever ratios. An 85-kg rider reduces the SAG by approx. 2% when switching from Full to Mid; the rear end becomes noticeably stiffer. Recommendation: 30% SAG as a starting point for all positions.
