R.EXC Modular Dropouts
Maximum performance in racing requires maximum adaptability. That’s why the new R.EXC features modular dropouts. What they do and how they are installed is explained in this video.
The modular dropouts of the R.EXC allow you to adjust the chainstay length, matched to the appropriate rear wheel size:
- Long: 29″ – longest wheelbase, maximum stability and smoothness
- Medium: 27.5″ – balanced for all-round performance
- Short: 27.5″ – agile, direct, and playful
By selecting the appropriate dropout, you can ensure that your bike is perfectly tailored to your body size and riding style.
- A longer chainstay provides greater stability at high speeds, improved smoothness, and more front-wheel traction and control.
- A shorter chainstay makes the bike more agile and playful and makes it easier to lift the front wheel.
