Light eMTB of the Year: the R.X375 awarded at the 2024 eMTB-News User Awards
Back on the podium again: the ROTWILD R.X375. After a year's hiatus, the All Mountain bike was able to build on past successes at the eMTB-News User Awards. Readers of the online specialist magazine elevated the bike to the bronze position in this year's public vote. This time, the model was able to assert itself in the "Light E-MTB of the Year" category against many strong competitors and claim the bronze medal. Among the representatives of the "light eMTB" category, the R.X375 plays a special role, as confirmed by its repeated selection. With high standards of quality, powerful performance, and a balanced ratio between agility and controllability, the bike is an indispensable part of the All Mountain and trail models, especially in ROTWILD's portfolio.
Not only the continuous success in reader surveys or the recurring positive feedback in tests in specialist media attest to the R.X375's ability as an all-rounder on various trails. It is especially the fun of riding and the support in achieving personal athletic goals that riders appreciate as a major plus of the bike. For this impression, the handling of the R.X375 is primarily responsible, conveying high stability while simultaneously standing for enormous agility, making the vehicle very well-balanced. With 150 mm of travel in the fork and 140 mm in the rear suspension, the rider can find a good personal setting between tight handling and comfortable riding depending on the nature of the trail.
A trail king that can do a lot
In addition, the setup of the motor, specially developed by ROTWILD, enables the sporty and largely self-powered exploitation of the R.X375's low weight, typical of a light eMTB. The EP8 motor delivers a torque of 60 Nm and is characterized by strong efficiency. If more assistance is needed, you can rely on the full power deployment in the standard setup with 85 Nm. With the Quickrelease, the battery with an effective 360 Wh can be changed in seconds. Simply carry a second energy cell in your backpack and change it on the trail: this turns the classic light eMTB into a dynamic specimen with even more range in no time.
Since 2018, the online magazine eMTB-News has been calling on its readers to vote for the User Awards. In over 20 categories, respondents can express their opinions on various aspects of eMountain biking. This year, over 6,000 people participated in the survey.
