Filmed in Saalbach-Hinterglemm: the R.X1000 makes altitude metre

Rugged alpine terrain, a multitude of challenging trails and fantastic views over alpine peaks as a reward: Saalbach-Hinterglemm offers the perfect conditions to put our new all-mountain, the R.X1000, under the microscope in practice. The eMTB specialist Sam Wordley was one of the first to do so. He spent four days in the Glemmtal valley.
Expert instruction for Sam was provided by ROTWILD expert Danny Herz.

Rider expertise meets innovative bike technology

As a former downhill rider and starter in the Enduro World Series (EWS), the Australian knows all about the individual requirements of various eMTB types. We showed him the R.X1000 for the first time on the show stage at the Eurobike in Frankfurt. It was clear that he wanted to find out how the All Mountain would perform in its future field of use. First task in the Glemmtal therefore? "A super tech climb", a technical challenge. We'll say it in advance: the All Mountain solved it with flying colours. It's not for nothing that it can be found on Sam's YouTube channel "We only talk ebikes" among a number of current and innovative bikes.

In the special focus of the observer: the new E1.12 motor-gearbox unit from Pinion.

From the riding characteristics of the new bike, the details worth knowing, the special motor specifics of the new motor-gearbox unit to the ultimate range test: He has now packed his view of these things into his video. How does the innovative geometry of the R.X1000 with 150 mm travel perform on the trail? How is the shifting feel with the new Pinion MGU? Find out here:
