Dynamic driving machine - the R.E375

The e-bike magazine ElektroRad wanted to find out which bike is a true "trail action star" and invited fourteen current e-mountain bikes to the test for its 02-2021 issue. The ROTWILD R.E375 PRO was able to particularly convince the testers and therefore receives the purchase tip of the editors.
Consistent lightweight construction and yet outstanding handling characteristics in demanding terrain: "The speed stability of this lightweight 29" enduro in downhill is fabulous. Thanks to the low weight, the bike is also decidedly easier to maneuver," notes editor Sebastian Böhm.

What did the R.E375 convince with?

In the category of E-Enduros, the ROTWILD bike impressed above all with its high riding dynamics, which are strongly oriented towards the classic MTB. The magazine describes the overall impression as follows: "The ROTWILD inspires as a dynamic driving machine, whose light-footed character moves it significantly closer to the muscle-powered MTB. Especially since, in order to maximize battery life, you like to switch from boost to lower trail mode on less steep climbs, getting yourself more involved in the rider/bike system. The low wheel weight makes it possible."

Battery removal is "impressively simple at the touch of a button," confirms the ElektroRad test crew.

How does the bike perform on the trail?

The low weight, a sensitive chassis, the sporty seating position with steep steering angle, powerful support modes, the top traction, all these points are immediately noticeable in the eyes of the testers on the trail. Uphill, the R.E375 shines, it "climbs light-footed". The enthusiasm is even greater when it goes downhill. Here, ElektroRad magazine attests: "Its smoothness in hard, fast downhills is almost unbelievable. The greedy 170/160 mm chassis clings to the ground, and supported by the extra-flat 63.5° steering angle, the bike overruns (almost) every obstacle! Conditioned by 445 mm short tail and low bottom bracket, the wheel races at the same time passionately through tight approach curves."

Thanks to the 8Pins variable support, the saddle can be lowered very far.

What could the R.E375 score with?

In the conclusion, the editors summarize the test result: "With sophisticated geometry and low weight, the R.E375 pushes downhill into new speed dimensions - and shines uphill on top of it". Full points scored the R.E375 in the categories handling, uphill, downhill fast, downhill technical and equipment. In touring and price/performance it receives four out of five stars. In the end, 33 of 35 possible points and the purchase tip of the editors.

The R.E375 PRO convinces in the test and receives the purchase tip of the magazine Elektrorad.
