Battery Recycling
Disposal
Your ROTWILD dealer ensures regulated disposal of bicycles, unopened and undamaged drive batteries, range extenders, and chargers. Disassembling the drive battery or charging cable is strictly prohibited. Residual voltages can cause fires and injuries. Sharp fragments and internal components can cause cuts and short circuits.
As an end user, you are required to return used drive batteries and charging cables for proper disposal. You may return them to your ROTWILD dealer or take them to a public collection point or recycling center.
Electrical and electronic devices must not be disposed of with household waste. They are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin on a black bar, which also indicates that batteries may not be discarded in household waste.
GRS
ROTWILD participates in the industry solution of the GRS Foundation (Gemeinsames Rücknahmesystem Batterien). This system ensures proper disposal and recycling of drive batteries. Please return drive batteries to a GRS collection point.
