Second certification instructor course held in Santiago de Chile

News / / Back to Overview

The 2nd version of the international PMBI certification course was held at the Bike Park El Durazno by Outlife during the last days of April and the beginning of May. 15 participants came from all parts of Chile including the 2.300 km far away Coyhaique, Pto. Varas, Pto. Montt, Valdivia, Lingue and La Serena to Santiago for this event.

All of them took part in order to submit themselves for certification for their different business activities as tourism guides or MTB instructors. Separated in two groups they were taught mountain bike riding skills in both cross country and downhill environments. Rainy days - before the course had started - assured an awesome grip on the trails, which helped the participants to improve their riding skills and techniques even more.

The course evaluator who flew in to Santiago exclusively from Canada was very pleased with the participants development. At the very final he handed out to each participant the so desired international level 1 PMBI certification. Together with the first version Chile counts a total of 27 certified PMBI instructors who will assure an international teaching standard, which is also applied in Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Africa and Chile.

This programme was brought to Chile exclusively by the Chilean ROTWILD Partner Bikes&more.
