Victory for the AMG ROTWILD TEAM

News / / Back to Overview

The German Sprint champion Nadine Rieder left her competitors far behind on the short track during the opening of the KMC Bundesliga in Bad Säckingen. Nadine won after 9 rounds with an advantage of 25 seconds compared to the second place. Her team mate Sofia Wiedenroth made the 4th place.

Nadine explained her strategy very shortly ”Right after the start I left everybody behind. When I figured out that I was the fastest one on the uphills I just continued the pace until the end”. Sofia Wiedenroth impressed with a very good performance. She was just bet by Linn Gustafzzon and Hanna Klein.

The UCI HC women’s Elite Race over the classic XC length had a very strong presence. Almost all World Cup competitors were present. Nadine and Sofia continued with their performance from the previous day. The 17th place for the woman from Sonthofen Nadine was the 4th best place among all German competitors. Nadine was very happy with the result: “Due to the strong competence I am very happy to be within the top 20”.

U23 driver Sofia Wiedenroth also started within the women’s elite category but couldn’t make it within the international riders into the WC point ranking. At the very end she made the 37th place. Within the U23 rating she was the best German competitor and is ranked 7th in the Bundesliga.

Both athletes trusted on their new ROTWILD Race Hardtails R.R2 HT.
