The ROTWILD E-MTB Racing Team conquers the podium
The Velovert Festival in Villars de Lans is one of the most important Mountainbike events in France. The event offers racing, action, fun and lots of industry news to the fans of mountain biking. ROTWILD riders Morgane Such and the brothers William and Alexis Luneau took the event as an opportunity to successfully start off the new season aboard their Brose engine equipped ROTWILD E-MTBs.
After sustaining a knee injury, Morgane Such finally had her come back with a 12th position at the EWS race at Ireland. Participating at her first E-Enduro race she showed her form and immediately took the top spot of the podium.
The young french rider, who obviously was really impressed by the capabilities of an E-MTB, commented after the race: „The race had 5 special stages with some very technical sections. It was a true Enduro course! As I’m not used to race with engine support, I was a little bit concerned in the beginning as how the additional weight might act up on the slippery descends. But the geometry of my R.X+ is very similar to my R.E1 so that I immediately felt comfortable - especially in the technical sections. Two days after the E-Bike race I participated in a mass start style Enduro race. This time using the conventional bike and crossing the line in 2nd position shortly after my first place made me more than happy.“
The Luneau brothers also had an amazing result to celebrate after the event. William Luneau took the 3rd place after having to deal with a broken collarbone for quite a while. His brother Alexis rounded up the great weekend with a 5th place, putting himself close to the podium.
