The R.T+ is a lightweight, agile electric bike built for endurance with real touring character. As with the eMTBs, the geometry of the classic R.T1 has been largely retained. Consequently, the balanced angle of the seat post and steering tube of the R.T+ together with the low centre of gravity also ensure excellent agility, pleasant pedalling and high efficiency during use. The enlarged wheelbase improves tracking and results in good directional stability. Also integrated in the R.T+ is a 518 Wh integrated power unit. The advantage of the Brose drive system is that it does not generate any additional resistance after cutting out above the legal speed limit because it disengages completely. This means the bike remains easy to pedal even at speeds in excess of 25 km/h. A reflective paint integrated into the artwork of the frame provides greater safety during everyday use.
