The cross country eMTB R.C+ has a large range for touring. 120 mm travel at the front and the back provides comfort, safety and great riding enjoyment during speedy descents. The balanced geometry is programmed for rapid acceleration and drive. The integrated power unit (IPU), which depending on the model is either a removable 648 Wh unit or a fixed 518 Wh unit, extends the range for long tours. The new performance optimised Brose Drive S does not generate any additional resistance after cutting out above the legal speed limit because it disengages completely. This enables pedalling without any resistance, even beyond 25 km/hr. The integrated cable routing allows for precise gear changes whilst looking good. Kinematics are optimised for the additional force from the motor and the crank by adapting the virtual pivot to them. This makes balanced biking possible without any influence from the drive system and the best possible traction. The XCS chassis with forward pivot point and Horst Link rear suspension is also designed for higher torque values. It enables an acute configuration of the damper while maintaining a sensitive response and optimum acceleration. This gives high end progression and downhill reserves at all times. eMTB specific components, such as the DT Swiss Hybrid wheel set and 34” FOX forks, complete the R.C+.
