With an easy uphill flow and controlled descents at high speed, the completely redesigned full carbon frame will meet all your requirements. The low top tube, dropped position of the suspension, 66° steering angle and 74° seat angle and extended reach of the highly agile R.X750 allow you all the freedom of movement you want. The combination of a 29” front wheel and 27.5” rear wheel guarantees outstanding handling. The 29x2.4 tyre on the front provides excellent rollover resistance and reduces the feel of front-tipping in downhill sections, while the 27.5x2.6 tyre on the back gives better traction.
The 150 mm running gear has been fully redesigned for the Big Mountain range to give a 10% increase in efficiency and improved downhill characteristics. The 3D forged linkage design, large industrial bearings and trunnion shock mount with ball bearings protect the shock absorbers from harmful lateral forces. This increases not only the life of the suspension elements, but also the stiffness of the rear triangle.
The new IPU750 and the Brose Drive S Mag motor set a new benchmark for mountain bike use. The powerful semi-integrated 750 Wh battery is based on the latest 21700 cell technology and has a compact, robust aluminium housing. The Brose Drive S Mag motor with its specialist sensors produces a maximum power output of 90 Nm. The new Flex Power mode provides dynamic support and the Cadence Power Control function gives up to 30% more power at high cadences.
